Simple Luxury Timepice - Hermes Carré H Watch

July 6th, 2010

World-known luxury goods producer Hermes has created a new watch that is simple yet interesting. At first sight, the new watch, named Carré H, does not look a Hermes watch. But take a closer look, it tells you its pure Hermes DNA via the smooth curves and the unique design. BTW the “H” in the name represents Hermes.

The case, crafted from stainless steel, has a moderate size- 36.5 x 36.5mm. Elegantly curved, the square watch in fact do not have a 100% square feeling. The lugs come with elegant bar shape. The case surface receives refined satin-finishing.

The dial, in matching color of the dial, is interestingly designed. But the design is not 100% original. If you are familiar with watch-making industry, you must know the Swiss watch maker Xemex firstly applied similar design on their Avenue models. The hands and the hour makers , in similar shape, works together to offer highly clear reading. The central zone is nicely textured. And it contains square subsidiary seconds dial at 6 o’clock position. Covering the dial, is a flat sapphire crystal.

Powering the watch is a Sowind GP 3200 automatic movement that features the brand’s iconic “H” decoration. Completed the watch is a black leather strap.

According to Hermes, the watch will be limited to 173 pieces to pay tribute to the brand’s 173-year history since 1837. The price is around $15,000. In a word, it is a nice-looking luxury watch with novel design. If you are a fan of Hermes replica watches, it is something you should consider adding to your desire list.
