Anabolic Steroids and Will They Work for Me?

April 1st, 2008

Unfortunately nobody can tell that question over the internet, but here are some tips to consider!

Firstly anabolic steroids are a class of natural and synthetic steroid hormones that promote cell growth and division, resulting in growth of muscle tissue and sometimes bone size and strength. Anabolic steroids are the synthetic derivates of male anabolic hormone testerone. Some anabolic steroids are Deca Durabolin, Sustanon, Winstrol Depot, Winstrol, Andriol, Anavar and other.

The base substance of Deca Durabolin is Nandrolone Decanoate. Nandrolone Decanoate is a male sex hormone given to treat a lack of testosterone, bone breakdown, female breast cancer, stimulation of growth, weight gain, and the making of red cells. Nandrolone Decanoate works as it is easy on the liver and promotes good size and strength gains while reducing body fat. This drug is unique in that 5a -reductase, the enzyme which converts testosterone to the more-potent DHT, actually converts Nandrolone to a less-potent compound. Therefore, this is somewhat deactivated in the skin, scalp, and prostate, and these tissues experience an effectively-lower androgen level than the rest of the body.

But there are some also some drawbacks or side effects Nandrolone Decanoate (Deca Durabolin) also has some side effects which are Water retention (edema), Gynecomastia, Numbness, Inhibited natural testosterone production, Elevated blood pressure , Elevated blood lipid profiles, Accelerated hair loss , Aggression, moodiness and Acne. I must remind you that Deca Durabolin has long half-life so it isn’t very suitable for short alternating cycles, but it is better for more traditional cycles, with a built-in self-tapering effect in the weeks following the last injection. Yes Deca Durabolin is taken with administration by deep intermuscular Injection.

Sustanon 250 is an oil-based injectable containing four different testosterone compounds: testosterone propionate, 30 mg; testosterone phenylpropionate, 60 mg; testosterone isocaproate, 60mg; and testosterone decanoate, 100 mg. It features both fast-acting and slow-acting esters, and can be injected anywhere from once every week to once every four weeks. Sustanon is used to be taken with Nolvadex or Proviron to counter and prevent estrogen-linked side effects. Testosterone Propionate: Chemical Formula C3H6O2, Testosterone propionate is a fast-acting ester with a release time of 3-4 days. To keep blood levels from fluctuating greatly, propionate is usually injected between one to three times a week. Testosterone Phenylpropionate: Chemical Formula C9H10O2, Testosterone phenylpropionate is a slow-acting ester, with a release time of 1-3 weeks. A popular name brand for T-phenylpropionate is “Testolent.” Testosterone Isocaproate: Chemical formula C6H12O2, Testosterone Isocaproate is a ester with a release time of 1 week.Testosterone Decanoate: Chemical Formula C10H20O2, Testosterone Decanoate is a ester with a release time for about a month, but recent discoveries show that levels drop siginficantly drop in a few weeks.

Andriol is a brand name for Testosterone Undecanoate Testosterone undecanoate is not a c-17 alpha alkylated hormone. Therefore, it is considered a safer oral form of testosterone. Additionally, it is absorbed through the small intestine into the lymphatic system, posing less burden on the liver. Undecanoate: Chemical Structure C11H22O2.
Undecanoate is not a commonly found ester, and appears in oral testosterone undecanoate (Andriol). It is an ester with a release time of 2-3 weeks.

More on this subject will be discussed next week!

Eddy “ED” Johnson is a long time bodybuilder and user of anabolic steroids, now he is emplojed by http://www.eurobolic.com as a consultant

Orthomolecular Medicine Education

April 1st, 2008

Orthomolecular Medicine education is an interesting and diverse field of medical study that is taught to therapists and other medical professionals to further their knowledge base in medicine.

Basically, orthomolecular medicine education is comprised of a variety of courses that examine therapeutic nutrition in relation to biochemical individuality; and how to apply this knowledge in practice.

Commonly known as a nutritional medicine, orthomolecular medicine education is often learned and applied by Conventional Nutritional Doctors and Practitioners, Naturopaths, Holistic MDs, and other natural and alternative medicine health care providers.

Orthomolecular medicine education teaches practitioners how to identify biochemical abnormalities, and how to reverse (and sometimes cure) disease and its symptoms by administering vitamin supplements, as well as other natural treatments such as minerals, and nutritional therapy.

On an informational note, orthomolecular medicine education has led to the successful treatment of a wide variety of illness and conditions, including anti-aging; cardiovascular disease; immune disorders; cancer and mental problems.

One of the larger orthomolecular medicine educational foundations offers various coursework in orthomolecular medicine, and is specifically designed for practitioners with a medical background. Candidates who successfully complete educational programs may receive a diploma, and may opt to become members of professional associations in orthomolecular medicine.

Expanding professional and medical advancement, orthomolecular medicine education is steadily becoming optional coursework in alternative and complementary medicine schools.

Leadership For Deep Results: Without Them Are You Wasting Your Leadership And Your Life? (Part One)

April 1st, 2008

I’ve challenged all leaders I have worked with during the past two decades to achieve “more results faster continually.”

They can get on track to start achieving such results not by working harder and longer but by slowing down and using Leadership Talks on a daily basis.

However, I also tell them that getting on the more-results-faster-continually track is not an end but a beginning. They must then begin focusing not just on the quantity and speed of results but the kind of results they aim to achieve.

There are roughly two kinds of results, standard results and deep results. Most leaders understand standard results but fail to come to grips with deep results. In fact, these leaders go through their entire careers getting the former, but they don’t have a clue about the latter. Of course, standard results are necessary. But in the long run, they are far less important than deep results.

We know what standard results are. They are the results we must get in our jobs, such as: speed, productivity, operations efficiencies, sales closes, sales leads, sales to new customers, failure prevention, health and safety advancements, quality, training, quality control, logistics efficiencies, marketing targets, new revenue streams, sales erosion, price calibrations, cost reductions, demand flow activities and technologies, inventory turns, cycle time reductions, materials and parts management, etc.

Whereas achieving standard results enables us to do a better job and have a better career, deep results are different. Deep results are about being better leaders. Of course, being a better leader will have a positive impact on your job and your career. But there is something else involved: Being a better leader means being a better person. Who we are as a leader and who we are as a person should be the same thing. If they’re not, we diminish both our leadership and the person we are.

Look at it this way: Standard results are about “doing”; deep results are about “being”. Our most important achievements as leaders are not just what we achieve but who we become in that achieving.

For instance, if we don’t get standard results in our job, we fail in that job or at least in that particular aspect of the job.

But in the realm of deep results, such failure might lead to success if in that failure, we find a better way to lead, a better way to be better.

Here are some ways deep results differ from standard results.

–Deep results emerge over longer periods of time.

–Deep results encompass wider circles outside your job, usually impacting your family, friends, and relatives.

–Deep results are often not conventionally successful results. They can come in the guise of failure.

–Deep results can’t be quantified. They’re usually a quality of living or being.

–Deep results are often not immediately apparent. Usually, you become aware of them after they appear and sometimes long after they appear.

–Deep results are formed in your inner life and the choices you make over the things you control, your opinions, aspirations, and desires.

–Deep results shape, and are shaped by, character.

How does one go about getting deep results? There are many paths up this mountain. But one path is straight and steep and clear. In Part Two, I’ll show you that path and provide examples of deep results in action.

Some Common Myths That Keep Women From Weight Training

April 1st, 2008

Weight training has long been known to improve health, improve strength, step up vigor, and improve the physique. Men have been taking advantage of this fact for many years now, but many women have avoided weight training and continue to do so because they see it as a masculine thing meant to bulk up muscle.

Many women have abstained from training with weights because of some misconceptions associated with women and weight training. If you have never given any thought to working out with weights before, it is probably because one or more of the common myths about women’s weight training is stopping you.

Let’s take a look at some of these myths and let’s find out just what the real truth is and why you should not let them stop you from taking advantage of all the benefits weight training has to offer.

One common myth is that some women think they are too old to work with weights. The truth is you are never too old to be able to strengthen and tone your muscles. By using lighter weights and a relatively low intensity program you can still benefit from weight training. It has been proven through studies that people as old as 80 and even 90 who started weight training saw up to a 200% increase in strength over a one month period.

Another common myth is that some women think they will lose their flexibility with weight training. The truth here is that weight training will actually help you to become more flexible. By doing weight training exercises through a full range of motion your muscles are put into a stretch with each repetition and by strengthening them, they are less prone to injury while doing stretching exercises.

This next myth is probably the most common one by far. Many women think that if they lift weights they will develop big muscles and look bulky and unfeminine. Nothing can be further from the truth! The fact is, women don’t have near enough of the male hormone testosterone, and testosterone is the major growth hormone that will produce bulky muscles. Unless women use supplemental means like steroids and growth hormone, they cannot bulk up like men. Weight training will get you firm and toned but by no means will it make you look manly.

One myth that is fairly common is that some women think that weight training is just boring and tedious. The truth is that weight training can be done with a friend, and you can make each other laugh as well as help keep each other on track. You can listen to music as you exercise. You can mix different exercises into your routine and change up your routine from time to time. You will also find that as your strength and your body are improving, you will feel so much better about it all. When you reach a certain goal, give yourself a reward like eating out in a fancy restaurant or taking a weekend vacation somewhere nice.

Now that you know the truth to some of the myths that have been stopping you from enjoying the many benefits of weight training, there is no reason for you not to make it a part of you exercise regimen. Weight training is no longer strictly for men only. So get up, get to the weights, and get fit for life.

Credit Cards - Applying Online For A Credit Card

April 1st, 2008

Everyone is familiar with the credit card applications we get in the mail every week. While many of these cards say you are pre-approved, you can still wait for several weeks before hearing of a decision on the acceptance of your application. The Internet has changed all that. Applying for a credit card online can mean getting approved in a matter of minutes. What are some things to look for in applying for any new credit card online?

How Is Your Credit?

If you know that your credit is good then you’ll have no issues in getting approved for an online credit card. The credit cards with the best terms and rates will always go to the consumers with the best credit. So, it is always a good idea to know what your credit report says about you. Be sure to check your credit report at least twice a year. Another benefit of doing that is to be sure there are no errors on it.

If you haven’t reviewed your credit report in some time, then it would be a good idea to do so before applying for a new credit card. Check it out for accuracy and fix anything that needs attention. Keep in mind that by applying for credit cards and getting turned down, will affect your FICO score. This can play a key role in getting future credit offers.

Applying Online

After you know whether or not your credit is good enough to be approved for a new credit card, you’re ready to apply online for an immediate approval card. All credit card companies will ask you for the same basic information: name, address, phone, social security number, date of birth, employer, length of employment, gross income, etc.

Before you apply online for your new credit card, read the terms and conditions carefully. Check to make sure there are no surprise fees. All credit card companies will require you to submit your social security number. They do this so they can pull your credit report and determine whether or not you are creditworthy enough to approve you for a new card. One important note to check for; make sure that you are using a secure server when transmitting the information online. It should say SSL 128-bit encryption. This is standard procedure over the Internet today. It will make it virtually impossible for someone to steal your information.

When you enter in all your information and press “send”, you will have an approval/disapproval decision in minutes. It will either show up right on computer screen, or be sent to your email address.

After you receive the news of your approval, you can expect your new credit card to arrive in the mail usually within 2 weeks. If you have been turned down for the credit card you applied for, you’ll be sent a letter in the mail stating the reasons for your denial. Check over the reason for your denial. It may simply be a mistake, in which you can speak to someone at the credit card company and they can help you get it corrected.

Legal Considerations for Raising Capital

April 1st, 2008

NOTE: THIS IS ARTICLE IS FOR INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY. IT IS NOT INTENDED TO BE CONSTRUED AS LEGAL ADVICE.

There are numerous legal considerations every entrepreneur must face when starting a new business, and raising startup capital is one that can be fraught with danger. Hiring a qualified securities attorney is not a luxury; it’s a necessity for businesses seeking to raise capital from third parties. Some of the key general considerations are:

• Properly organizing the company as business entity under state law;

• Ensuring the company has issued enough authorized shares of stock of the same type that will be offered to investors;

• Make sure that any existing and potential legal problems are resolved before issuing stock to investors;

• Have an experienced securities attorney examine the federal securities laws, as well as the securities laws of any state in which stock may be offered to prospective investors, to make sure the company and its investment offer complies with those laws;

• Have your attorney explain in writing the potential personal liabilities of the company’s officers and directors if the company violates any federal or state securities laws in raising capital. Potential penalties can be very serious, ranging from civil fines to jail time;

• Make sure that your written investment prospectus contains all required state and federal disclosure language in the appropriate places;

• Your attorney should review the business plan and financial statements for possible untrue and/or misleading statements; and

• Obtain a written opinion from your attorney whether your particular investment opportunity is required to be registered with the appropriate regulatory agencies.

Best Home Equity Loans - Comparing Lenders And Options

April 1st, 2008

If you own a home, a home equity loan can be a perfect fix to
financial problems. Getting approved for a bank loan for large
unexpected expenses is not easy. For this reason, many
homeowners rely on their home’s equity to obtain funds for home
improvement, debt consolidation, etc. When picking a home equity
loan, it’s essential to select the best lender. Thus, homeowners
must wisely compare loans and lenders before accepting an offer.

When to Get a Home Equity Loan?

Homeowners obtain home equity loans for a variety of purposes.
Those who do not understand how home equity loans work may be
reluctant - and for good reason. These loans are secured by your
house. Thus, if you are unable to repay the funds, your home
equity lender may foreclose on your property.

Aside from the risks, home equity loans are extremely valuable.
Use the money to make necessary home improvements such as a new
roof, siding, etc. Furthermore, home equity loans can be used
for investment purposes. Put your home’s equity to good use and
start a business, retirement fund, or invest in real estate.

Good Credit and Bad Credit Home Equity Loans

Even with a poor credit rating, you can get approved for a home
equity loan. Most lenders are comfortable with granting
collateral-based loans to people with bad credit. Of course,
finding a low rate home equity loan may require effort. On
average, home equity loans have fixed rate. However, it is
possible to obtain a variable rate loan. Individuals with a
negative credit score may prefer variable rates because they
carry a lower rate.

Comparing Home Equity Loan Lenders

Typically, home equity loans have slightly higher interest rates
than first mortgages. However, these loans have smaller balances
and shorter terms. Thus, home equity loans can be paid within a
few short years.

There are many ways to compare lenders. The internet offers the
largest selection of home equity lenders, rates, and services.
Moreover, completing online applications are faster. In addition
to getting online quotes, contact your mortgage lender. As a
current customer, you may be entitled to unadvertised savings.

Once you have obtained several quotes from different reputable
lenders, now’s the time to compare and contrast offers. Each
lender will quote a loan term, estimated monthly payment, etc.
The more quotes you receive, the more loan options available.
Each applicant must choose the appropriate loan for their
situation.
